A few common questions.

What conditions does Dr. Hasan treat?
Thyroid disease, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, medical weight management, low testosterone, menopause and perimenopause, PCOS, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and calcium/parathyroid conditions.
What happens after I schedule my first appointment?
Dr. Hasan reviews your available records and prior labs before the visit. Your first consultation is a full hour. If testing is ordered after your visit, he calls you when the results are back to review the findings, management plan, and next steps.
Do you take insurance?
No. Chia Endocrinology & Wellness is a direct-care practice and does not bill insurance. Upon request, we provide an itemized medical receipt — a superbill — that you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Practicing outside insurance allows Dr. Hasan to keep his patient panel deliberately small and to give each patient the time and attention their care deserves — something our patients' reviews reflect.
What are the advantages of becoming a member?

Do I have to become a member?
No. Stable, lower-complexity conditions needing only one or two specialist visits per year may remain pay-per-visit. If your care requires more frequent visits or clinical communication between visits, ongoing care is provided through membership.
Where is telehealth available?
In-person visits are available in Wexford. Secure telehealth is available to patients located in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
