Premium members receive access to Spruce Health, our secure communication app for non-urgent clinical questions between visits. Through Spruce, you can message our office and share glucose logs, CGM reports, medication photos, lab results, and other documents — all organized in one place.

This is especially helpful for patients in active medication management, including GLP-1 therapy, insulin, testosterone therapy, hormone therapy, thyroid medication titration, or complex endocrine care.

Premium messages are reviewed with higher priority during business hours. Spruce is not for emergencies and is not monitored 24/7.

Membership & pricing FAQ

What's the difference between Standard and Premium membership?

Both include your visits, unlimited portal messaging, prescriptions, forms and prior authorizations, testing and interpretation, and CGM/pump support. Standard ($130/mo) suits 2–3 endocrine conditions with 3–4 visits a year. Premium ($200/mo) is built for 3+ chronic conditions and adds concierge-level primary care, Dr. Hasan's direct cell number (including weekends and holidays), same- or next-day appointments, more frequent InBody scans, a yearly screening thyroid ultrasound at no charge (from Fall 2026), and secure Spruce app access for sharing logs, photos, and reports between visits.

Which option is right for me?

If your condition is stable and you only need to be seen once or twice a year to monitor and refill, the non-member option may be enough. If you have ongoing conditions that need adjustments and communication between visits, membership is usually both easier and better value — Standard for moderate needs, Premium for complex care or anyone who wants direct access to Dr. Hasan. Do you offer a discount for paying annually?

Yes. Members who prepay for the year receive a 10% discount on their membership.

As a member, are my visits included or do I pay per visit?

Your allotted visits for the year are included in your membership — there's no additional per-visit fee. Standard includes 3–4 visits per year and Premium includes 5–8.

What is the Spruce app, and who gets it?

Spruce Health is our secure app for non-urgent clinical questions between visits, included with Premium membership. You can message the office and share glucose logs, CGM reports, medication photos, and lab results in one organized place. It's especially useful during active medication adjustments such as GLP-1, insulin, testosterone, hormone, or thyroid therapy. Premium messages are reviewed with higher priority during business hours; Spruce is not for emergencies and is not monitored 24/7.

Can I message Dr. Hasan between visits?

Members can reach the practice through secure patient-portal messaging between visits. Premium members also get the Spruce app and Dr. Hasan's direct cell number for urgent concerns, including weekends and holidays. Non-members are asked to schedule an appointment when they need support.

What does the initial consultation include?

A 60-minute evaluation with Dr. Hasan (in office or virtual) for $390. It includes review of your past records and outside labs before the visit when available, plus 30 days of support and communication afterward — including discussing the results of any testing he orders during your consultation. Expect a detailed review of your medical history, outside records, imaging, nutrition status, current concerns and symptoms, and a physical exam, with appropriate testing ordered at the end of the visit.

How do non-member cancellations and rescheduling work?

Non-members may reschedule once per year for a valid reason. If the change is made within 3 business days of the appointment, the full visit fee is collected in advance at the time of rescheduling and is non-refundable. If the change is made more than 3 business days ahead, a $50 non-refundable deposit is collected and credited toward your visit. If a non-member cancels an appointment, any future appointment must be paid in full (non-refundable) at the time it is scheduled. Members enjoy flexible, unlimited rescheduling and cancellations at no penalty.

Do you take insurance?

Chia is a direct-care, out-of-network practice; payment is due at the time of service and we provide an itemized receipt for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Traditional (straight) Medicare is the one exception we accept. Lab tests and imaging are billed to your insurance like any in-network doctor.

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership cancellation requires 60 days' notice. If you cancel and later decide to rejoin, a $300 re-enrollment fee applies.
