Statewide Coverage

Wherever you are in Pennsylvania, you have an endocrinologist.

Specialist endocrine care is scarce in much of the state, and waitlists at major centers stretch for months. Telehealth removes the distance: from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh to Erie, Harrisburg, Allentown, Scranton, and State College — and every town between — you see the same board-certified specialist by secure video, usually within one to two weeks.

Prefer to be seen in person? The office in Wexford, north of Pittsburgh, is always open to you.

An Honest Word

Telehealth done right — and its limits, told straight.

Excellent by Video

Most endocrine care

  • Thyroid disease, diabetes, and hormone management
  • GLP-1 weight-loss care and medication adjustments
  • Lab review, follow-ups, and long-term monitoring
  • Busy schedules, long drives, and rural Pennsylvania
When In-Person Is Better

Judgment, not convenience

A small number of situations genuinely benefit from a hands-on examination or in-office testing — a palpable thyroid nodule, for example. When that's true for you, Dr. Hasan will say so plainly and help arrange the visit or the right local testing. The medicine decides, not the format.

Telehealth Questions

Before your first video visit.

How does a telehealth visit with Dr. Hasan work?
You book online, then meet Dr. Hasan by secure video from home. New consultations are a full hour: your history, symptoms, prior records, and goals are reviewed together, and a plan is made with you. Any testing is ordered after the visit, and Dr. Hasan calls you with the results.
Do I ever need to come to the Wexford office in person?
Most endocrine care can be delivered fully by telehealth. If your situation would genuinely benefit from a physical examination or in-person testing, Dr. Hasan will tell you directly and help arrange it.
How are labs handled if I live far from Wexford?
After your visit, Dr. Hasan orders exactly the tests your case requires. You have blood drawn at a laboratory near your home — such as Quest or Labcorp — anywhere in Pennsylvania. Labs are billed to your insurance as usual, and Dr. Hasan calls you to review the results.
Can prescriptions be sent to my local pharmacy?
Yes — prescriptions go electronically to the pharmacy of your choice anywhere in Pennsylvania. A small number of medications carry additional regulations and may occasionally require an in-person evaluation; Dr. Hasan will let you know if that applies to you.
What do I need for a video visit?
A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, a private space, and an internet connection. You must be physically located in Pennsylvania (or Ohio) at the time of your visit. A secure link arrives before your appointment — no special software required.
Is telehealth available outside Pennsylvania?
Yes. Dr. Hasan is also licensed in Ohio — see telehealth for Ohio patients.
